cooling fan advice m52 conversion

Hi,

I was wondering if its best to use the viscous fan on the m52 with e36 air con radiator, or if it would be better to use another fan?

The viscous fan won't fit between engine and rad. You will need an electric pusher fan mounted in front of the rad.

Cheers James I thought this might be the case, do you have any advice on a make/model and what size it should be?

I used a SPAL 14" pusher fan on my S50 conversion, but I think people have said a 16" fan will just fit. I never had any issues with the 14" and it ran through a very hot summer.
