it was a non runner so first thing was to find the problem.
first thing i cheched was the air filter and found this...
the bottom plate on the air flow metre had dropped off ,stuck it back on and BINGO!!!!! FIRED STRAIGHT UP

Yeah mate I was well pleased, the guy I got it of was scratching his head for 6 months, and I cracked it in 5 minutes

thats the good thing about it, floor,sills,wheel arches,front skuttle are all good and dont require any work, found a couple of random bits but pretty much a solid shell. this is the 13th e30 ive owned (and still own a 88 m-tech 2 cab,had it for over 10 yr,but it a shed now ..lol)so ive got a pretty good idea what to look for

think it must have been you who i emailed regarding a horse shoe seal for a cab via gum tree....didnt get back to me

the seats are gone and so is the shell , i only have front panel,doors and the bootlid left from it .

Is it possible/viable to strip a 325 air flow meter to just the metal so it can be polished/re finished ?
