Been trying to find somewhere to buy the 5 series cylindrical engine mounts , looked on Ebay and think I found them for about a tenner?
Do ECP have them and if so how much or is there somewhere better to buy them?
Only off work every 2 weeks so dont get much chance to check.

Just checked ecp on a 1986 5 series 3.4 and came back at £20, does this sound about right?

I've just received two from ebay for a tenner each like you said, as far as ive been told they're all the same regardless of the model so the ecp ones should be fine.

Absolutely. How many pairs do you think we could get people signed up for? 5? 10?LondonTom wrote:Would you be up for doing a group buy discount on these?HackEngineering wrote:If you want uprated M5X swap engine mounts, I sell them here - http://www.hackengineering.bigcartel.co ... wap-mounts

I would have thought 5 should be feasible.

I don't I'm afraid - but they are promised as a direct bolt in, which will leave the gearbox exactly in line with the diff.DanThe wrote:Any pictures of them mounted? I cant see the angle on the website pictures
GB started here - guys please make sure you confirm what stiffness you would like and whether you'd like transmission mounts too, which I am offering at 10% off when purchased together.

Like the look of the transmission mounts on the website. Reverted back to E30 ones as I wasn't impressed by the Condor Speed Shop mounts not having the opposing ends isolated.

Bolt-through is certainly not the way forwards if you want it to be refined at all! Other cheap mounts we have seen are like this, much easier to make of course but very disappointing results.Motorhole wrote:Like the look of the transmission mounts on the website. Do you have any more information/pictures to how they are made? There are lots of mounts out there that fall apart due to poor design
Plus, if I was to be paying over £100 for a pair of mounts id like to be able to see that they are the correct shape/angle

They are made in the somewhat traditional manner - baseplates with studs bonded into high quality polyurethane. Others fail due to the depth of the bonding, this is not a problem with Revshift. I should also mention that these have a lifetime warranty.DanThe wrote:Do you have any more information/pictures to how they are made? I've just found a photo on the Revshift Instagram, as seen below. Let me know if this helps, happy to dig for more.

Thanks Meathead, I'd never have found that.
