Alpina B10 Bi turbo, this car is haunting me 11/2/15
Moderator: martauto
Why dont you send me a text or call me instead of moaning about it on here!
Or better still, call up and speak to Dan!
If you moan about it to me you will be getting a f Uck off tablet.
My old man had similar last year. You shouldn't have an issue regards the congestion fine, providing dates of the sale have been kept by ML.
I don't know how ML sell cars for customers, but get ready for a DVLA fine for not notifying them of the transfer to ML. My dads choice was a £30 or £50 fine or a day in court (and the chance of a bigger fine)

No!
And he would not have to pay a penny as it would all get sorted. The guy only collected the car a few weeks ago and the V5 would have been signed and sent off then.

Also nice of you to be slagging off the company on other forums before even contacting them about this issue.

It's the registered keepers job to sort the V5 you should have had ML fill out the traders section even if the turd was on SOR
Look Simon, i understand if you are annoyed but if you have a problem then the best way of sorting quickly it is to deal with it direct.

did YOU ask them to fill this in and give you back the V5C/3 so you could return it to DVLA ?Simon13 wrote:For once Topless you've not spoke bullshit. Amazing, still the "traders" responsibility to transfer the V5, so still back to the original point.
if not your at fault !

No, it's the registered keepers responsibility to send off the V5 even if the car has been transfered to a trader rather than sold privately. This is how my dad got caught out.Simon13 wrote:still the "traders" responsibility to transfer the V5
He received a speeding fine (after the car was sold) but as he was abroad at the time and the trader who sold the car for him provided the date of sale, he avoided the speeding fine, unlike the new owner.
He then received a fine from the DVLA for not notifying them of the change of keeper. He wrote a letter explaining the car was sold by a trader on his behalf, but was told he still needed to inform them of the transfer to a trader.

Come on Simon, surely you know how lame the DVLA are at doing anything apart from dishing out fines? 2 weeks is nothing for processing a speeding/whatever fine from some ANPR crap.
Why didnt you sell the car yourself by the way?

That pic was taken the day he collected it which was jan 23rd which was a friday. The V5 would not have been posted till the monday the 26th which is two weeks and 3 days ago.
Ive waited over a month for a log book from the DVLA before.

He doesn't look like a diamond-plated hero with testes of cold forged steel, but obviously he must be if he's bought the Biturbo...
