Friend of mine took his car out after being parked up for 2 months or so. Said all lights were working until he parked up were all the lights (headlights, dims & back lights ) turned of, also the hazards have stopped working to but indicators still working? Anyone know what could be the problem?
Thanks

Hazards will be the switch itself in need of a strip and clean, or fuse 24 blown. If fuse 24 is blown, it's usually because some "auto electrician" has taken power from the wire to the switch, knowing that it is permanent live.
The first part of your question makes no sense at all.

Before the car was parked up for a while all the lights were working including the hazards, he told me he started it up & put the lights on everything was working fine, when he parked outside his own house before turning the lights of himself they just turned of with the switch still being on.

What's the state of the electrics now? What works and what, if anything, doesn't?
Accurate and complete answer is important.

I've said none of the lights are working, which includes headlights, dims, rear lights...

So are you going to tell us what the issue was, or just leave us guessing?

Low beam relay caused the issue, as that was the relay i replaced & everything started working again apart from the hazards which I'm still investigating but the indicators work, so not to surejmc330i wrote:I think he means how did you fix it?MPOWERCRAZY wrote:I thought I've made it clear, all electrics are fine, suddenly all of the lights went of including headlights, sidelights & rear lights.
