Hi all,

Im trying to get hold of a cometic head gasket.. or something that is as good for my m20b25

details.. Performance MLS head gasket, thickness 1.78mm, bore 85mm. Suitable for BMW M20B25 & M20B27 2.5/2.7L 6-Cylinder

Needed asap.. ie this week

Vac will over night them from the usa if you cant find one this side of the pond
M40 rightness if you can get to 6000rpm noone can hear your tappets

Your spec sounds pretty standard, why do you need an MLS?

dealer gasket or goetze will work, though can be difficult to find 1.75mm gasket most seem to stock 2.05mm (+0.3mm)
E30 325is with M20B31

My guess is he is putting a snail on it
M40 rightness if you can get to 6000rpm noone can hear your tappets

A stock gasket with studs should hold a fair bit of boost on a good well faced block with correct torque.

In a pinch a stock one would be fine provided you didn't boost the crap out of it.
