I think the horn sounds if the incorrect code is entered 3 times.

The horn is an alarm for the code function of the OBC.

You can enter a new code when the obc gets power for the first time after being disconnected. The alarm is a straight forward affair which sounds the horn if the code is entered 3 times incorrectly.

The obc gets it's power from the dash cluster, and i believe it cuts power to the fuel pump if the code is entered incorrectly 3 times. You only have to enter the correct code once to start the car.

Hmm, don't know that one. It could just be the connecting point for the immobiliser loom, but i didn't bother with that feature so can't be sure. I'm sure Mr. Moore will come along later and let you know!

There's a plug which fits a 2 pin socket with green wires for the immobiliser function. The plug on the car loom will either already be connected to a (much better) immobiliser or still have the factory jumper wire across the terminals (it's effectively a neat pre-made break in the fuel pump circuit). IMO, leave the function on the OBC disabled by not plugging that connection.

Then you don't have to bother fitting the control box!

Yeah, that's the one but it's only used for the code function.
