Dans looms are proper and you cant go wrong

As for the corsa linkage id say its as strong as it needs to be, most E30 linkages have a floppy piece of rubber holding it together.

Guess what peeps 8)

Image

:woohoo:

I decided to make my life a bit easier and put the engine and box in seperately also to avoid any kind of damage to anything!

Image
Image

Engine went in nice and smooth and the box was a bit fiddly underneath with the jack and pure willpower lol havent done a gearbox on the floor in a while and hopefully i wont have to for a long time! lol

Fresh chrome nuts to compliment its new paint job winkeye

Image

Only downside to my day was this :(

Image
Image
Image

^^ Obvious why they caved in the body on the scrapper! ^^

Looks like i wont be going anywhere untill i can source an E34 manifold and downpipes :(

Started routing the wiring and taking brackets etc from the m20 engine to PROPERLY secure the wiring and make it look tidy/profeshional..the wires where all over the place before! (i will do some before and after pics when im finally finished)

At this point it started chucking down so couldnt get anymore pics as i had to run for the car cover haha

I will be finishing the rest of the engine (hopefully) everynight after work if the weather allows for it! So more pics to come peeps!

Excited is not even the word for how i feel right now! :o:

Yay! :woohoo:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news though but you may have some grief gettin the inlet manifold on too! :( Its the servo that gets in the way.

Unless you are dropping the TB's on? winkeye

Proper hero getting the gearbox on with the engine in bud, i tried it once and nearly ended up smashing the car up with anger, lol.

Thanx lee!

Yea ill admit there was a couple of moments where i needed to step away take a break the come back and try again! lol :-x

Ive taken the inlet off before when i was trying out my throttle bodies/ and adapter plates and managed to get it back on with a bit of jiggling! >>

If i needed to get the servo back out it still isnt filled with brake fluid so i can always get the 4 nuts off n get it back out :D

Ps look at how jumbled up the wiring is!!! ^^

which this >> http://www.e30.de/335i/09.htm (second one down) says the original bmw one was 447 part number..

the second one im not sure!

Was just wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with nissen rads as a search on google shows good and bad reviews! :-x lol

I didnt realise the E34 rad fitted in an E30? thought it was only E28 as it was thinner?

Only one ive got is the M20 rad and im really not 100% confident it will do the job (even though people have said it would)

This second rad looks like an E34 aircon rad, if it is it wont fit as its to wide for the chassis rails.

According to e30.de an E36 rad can be used and just had a quick look on mine and im guessing it could
