In all seriousness my bro in law would let his B3s saloon go for a decent price, same colour as mine and nearly all factory options but 4drs, where as mine has the big boot but no toys.

You can come drive ours if you want, shes a belter!

well the glass is always half bloody empty to you when its other people looking at cars!

Tony the old woman drives the B3s so thats a no!

This one is drivers spec, cloth seats, nurburgring suspension and the servotronic steering option. Its not too leggy either

Have you fixed the BiTurdo yet ? No rush, that M5 will be going nowhere anytime soon :)

Barry is right, MOST E34 M5s are now HORRIBLE :( even those that did not start life in Scotland !

It's been in Scotland and Ireland, that does not bode well! :(

I'm willing to bet its not had 4 EDC shocks and front to rear brake and EDC pipes.

Biturdo, hmmmm yes and no. It developed a battery drain which i've traced to the Air con control panel. I'm waiting on some spare parts to arrive to cure this.

My OBC check control prob i think i've traced also, so just an irractic Boost LED to sort. Then something else will go wrong 8O

If the engine is a good one in an M5, then if you don't Barry it everywhere then it will be fine, no £1000 clutches or turbos.

You can delete the EDC for a bilstein/eibach or what ever setup and suddenly in my mind it could provide some more hassle free motoring than a bi-turdo as its a much simpler car mechanically

Barry it everywhere lol! I don't always drive fast! :)

Agreed it is a simpler car than the Bi turbo but still old and probably f ucked.

Although the sensible option re the eibach/bilstein combo, it kind of takes away part of the 3.8 M5's appeal imo, especially one with the Nurburgring package like the black one has.

EDC dampers currently are NLA from BMW and theres no word if they are going to reproduce them yet

If they were expensive now, imagine the new price probably 2k each!

Non Nurburgring turdz are a switch away from having the Nurburgring package. Obviously it needs to be a 3.8 with working EDC (flying pig overhead !) The wiring, ECU is all there. Just fit the switch and you are good to go. I have done this a few times, victims love extra lights and switches :D
Strictly speaking, you also need the 9j rears and a thicker rear antiroll bar but if you are smart and cool enough to buy the far more desirable touring , you will already have these morsels :)

You may regret offering me that! I've seen your bro in laws car and it's lovely, but really it's a Touring I'm after....

What about 10 large for this badboy? Or would you feel short changed by not having the 6.0 badboy which makes a fair bit more power

Its cooler than a kashmir codpiece

Also, e30 m3, just because...

Just another old E34 at the end of the day, only with adaptive ashtrays, Nurburgring Alcantara floor mats and the remains of 340 bhp if you're lucky, as well as f ucked sills, jacking points, oil leaks and arseraping main dealer only parts costs.

A really nice 560SEC is more like it. I was going to suggest a mid engined Renault 5 Turbo but they're 25 grand now apparently. 8O

Not at all, and I admire the way you take on these chariots. I bloody wouldn't! You'll actually make a profit on the BiCurious. It's just that an E34 M5 is another 20 year old hero chariot that's had a hard drubbing. They're not even that fast now - a 535d will give one a sound kicking. Do you really want that?

There are worthy victims in the Heath passage - granite 750i SWB, and that white E34 53....I mean Alpina B10. :D

Petes 750i is a tempting car with a nice set of wheels a good weekend cruiser, and the white e34 is a lovely looking tram.

I know what you mean, it doesn't bother myself too much he they aren't that fast anymore. I bet the M5 in good condition is a better car to hustle along, the bi turbo just feels big, heavy and doesn't want to be thrown about much just bludgeon the horizon into submission no matter how short or long the road is. Its manners aren't unruly and its predictable in its setup in a different way i'd bet to the M5.

I bet the mechanic from surrey who's won 108 million on the euros will be placing an order for a new car of the lumpy tackle variety

i messeged the guy about the 540 and asked if he had kept the standard bits he said i don't think the cars for you.

I guess you could claw a load of money back by selling all the driftcock bits like sparco seats, hydro handbrake and coilovers

As a rule , I don't do rice BUT I have a secret lust for a R32 GTR, it would have to be black and look TOTALLY standard . Alas, as with most Jap turdz, the interior is totally tragic and the grimness of the mousefur/ tupperware clad cockpit would upset me much more than "I am even scummier than an E46 M3 owner " image that these cars have.

I've spent a lot of times working on skylines Unfortunatly, but I also have a soft spot for a 32gtr.

They certainly are not nice to work on and the owners image isn't great.

You're sicker than I thought Pete :)

What happend to that red 3.6? Pete's 750i is a good idea and are undervalued and overlooked or a M5 touring if you can find one.
