Looking good Steve.
Can i ask how much the bulkhead insulation cost, the main central bit and battery tray. Also did you just glue them inplace or did you add any rust protection.

Dave, the battery tray is about £28 the centre is £75 or there abouts..
I used no glue just a dose of "hot" waxoil on the upper area, the whole thing is held in place with the Servo and the Large plastic nuts as per factory
I think they had a bit of glue on these in the factory I didn't feel as though it needed it ,

Thanks Steve, bit more expensive than i was hoping but needs must. Will go for a new ally heatsheild as well since the inside was crumbling up.
That's how i was planning on refitting mine but when i saw how well glued it was i wasn't sure just the nuts and servo would hold it well enough without it getting baggy. Will go ahead with the Waxoyl then

Not sure i would use waxoil, its going to melt and run with the temps seen under the hood, some light oil would be sufficient to keep it from rusting.

A few hot/cold cycles and the solvent will be gone from the waxoil which leaves the protective wax behind

so after nearly 2 years of sitting on the ramp...

and a spare week or 2 from work I thought I had better get it done
check out the layer of dust !

new screen fitted, Pilkington glass top tinted surprisingly cheap at £145 fitted?

wipers are now RHD after lots of messing around.. a set of new Conti's and all the fiddly bits done,
the turd now has a full MOT

I just need to order another Bumper tape after the other one folded up on me
and fit the M/// badge innit,

chucked a bucket of water over it,

thank f**k that's almost done now I can concentrate on another car
