As per title. Have an M52B28 I bought from a forum member a while back thats just about to go in. Have been stripping it down and cleaning. The air-con is long-gone, assume removed from pervious owner. All that remains is the pulley. Can this also be removed? If so, is it just a bolt off job?

Cheers

PAS Pulley? Yeah, it's held on by three bolts. 10 or 12 mm iirc. Stop the pulley from rotating by holding one bolt with a spanner whilst loosening another with a ratchet. Loosen all three in turn, then remove them all completely. You may need a bearing puller to remove it from the spigot.

The whole AC bracket can be removed, then you just need a shorter non-AC belt to run the PAS, waterpump etc etc.

Ah, I got you.
I just left the pulley on mine.... kept thinking it could be used to drive something useful, like a supercharger winkeye
