Evening all,
I did have the instrument pack out at the weekend for the temp gauge nut check. However now coolant issue is sorted I have lost my instrument lights and digital clock? All gauges working fine and I have changed fuse 23 in the dark, even though the one in looked fine, still no joy.....
Thanks in advance.

Well I've taken it back out and disconnected reconnected everything, the digital clock now works but no lights on the instrument pack?
Help appreciated. The fuse is good.

Are you sure the interior lighting is not set to dim?, try twisting the light pull clockwise.

If the rest of the controls/instrument lighting is working (excluding headlamp/fog light switch panel), then either you have two dud bulbs in the cluster (use the correct wattage replacements!) or you have cracked the solder joints on the white socket at the back of the cluster, where the pins join the circuit board.

Thank you sir,yes all other lights work. Could I have damaged 2 of the bulbs taking it out before? Also the solder joints? Are they inside the cluster and visible if damaged, canit be resoldered or new instrument pack required? Thanks for the help, electrics really are not my forte!
Strangely the oil warning light has now come on the over head panel once I put it all back together, oil level seems fine, albeit parked on a nose down slope?
