You'd need to swap the rack, which isn't a huge ballache but is probably the toughest part of the job. Then you need to add a pump together with its mount and belt, then just plumb in the hoses, including the reservoir.
Simple enough if the car's on jackstands, but you may need to take it to have the tracking done afterwards.

You'll also need the shaft that goes from the end of the steering column to the rack. Shorter on a power set up.
You could, of course, go straight to an E46 rack.
