Will ix's 15x7" basket weaves fit straight onto to my i's which is running stock 14x6.5" basket weaves? Can you tell me what are the offsets for both the 325i and 325ix? In other words is the offst big enough to cause probs.

thanks

The wheels are 14" according to the tyres on my car and as printed in the manual. I am after some 15" becasue they look just a bit better than the 14" (195/65 Vs 205/55) and want to know whether they fit straight up or whether the offset will cause problems.

IX X spokes have an offset of 41 whereas standard e30 15" X
spokes have an et of 24 i can't imagine the wheels are interchangeable as that is quite a difference.

The standard 15 " BBS wheels will be a direct swap though.

so i'd need 17mm spacers to give the correct offset?

What are the downsides of incorrect offset? Rubbing............what else

Im unsure about what will fit what.
Technically pete is right with his measurements as that is what BMW state. but i own an ix and when i bought it from the fraggers it had steels on.
I have fitted a standard set of 15" x spokes i previously had on 3 or 4 different uk e30s coupe and tourings and they are fine!!
