Home made rear cookies lol
Thats the original paint underneath. Previous owner "sprayed" it matt black after what I assume was a pretty major accident to the nearside front. It looked shit and I got bored with it being just another matt black car!

Yeah most e30 owners buy ebay "coilovers" expecting proper lows...either that or 60mm springs and 17inch alpina reps! Cars had a shitload of work to get it this low. Custom proper coilovers, adjustable topmounts, front arb removed, custom STEEL m20 sump, chassis reinforcement etc. Probably rides a lot better than all the lowered e30s out there. Pictures are shit because she is just learning, trying the old school way of not using Auto mode! Patience needed! :D

Nope been through a couple when I was younger. Just like to do things a tad differently. Dont normally have the cash to pay for a lot so I fabricate things myself as I enjoy it. I'd like to see another e30 on 185/45/15 front tyres that doesnt have any arch gap without the use of air. Also the cars made for drifting aswell as daily duties hence why I wanted it to handle well at this height.
Skid wheels will upset more of you guys lol-

Car does what I want it to mate and looks how I want it to except decent bodywork but sadly that costs money. Glad I can show you that not everyone likes the way that YOU like a car. Car scene is massive with so many different styles and uses for a car. Single minded people like you amuse me and make this all the more enjoyable to be honest :D no likey, no writey lol

ahh, nail bang head. Money. so lack of funds means you give it the ready for the scrapper look which is a look seen all to often in recent years. its a kop out and piss poor excuse

how about you spend less money on the ink and put it towards improving the car

i'm certainly not single minded and my cars have differed vastly over the years and still do so.

Whats my tattoos got to do with money? Who says I pay for that? lol I would love it to look all pretty and shiny but then if it did I would probably think twice about clutch kicking it into a corner at 60mph which is why I built the car in the first place. Differed vastly? Anything you have done yourself or did you pay someone else to do it for you after you bought all the "in" parts that everyone else was fitting at the time? I would be interested to see these "vastly different" cars if you wouldnt mind? :D
Heres some pics of the other cars I built and still own to prove I can do shiny paint too lol

"in" parts, well i dont go for the "in" like some, and in this case the look is scrap

as for my car/cars, i get stuck in thats for sure. Bar some welding and actual paint i get very involved

there is plenty of my current and past cars on this forum, i wont be posting pictures on this thread, i'll let you use the search facility

but here's one of my lows to satisfy you

Image

as for being worried about clutch kicking and drifting an expensive car.......... pussy is the word id use lol

It's as low as any one who's sensible would want to go with a daily, but I'm not surprised it doesn't meet your chassis rail/sump cracking expectations

Then again you've cabled tied parts on, run low profile stretched tyres on 15" high ET wheels and incorrect shock lengths to attain your lows

Here's another low, not strictly my car. It's my best mates and I've had the missfortune of getting beached while driving it on a cambered road, like i did with my white one

Image

Lets be honest, there's lowered, there is low and then there is stupid/dangerous

As an old person, can the OP please explain to me the reason for lowering a car to the point where it is practically undriveable ? Don't tell me" because it looks good" I have seen your cars ! :)

Fo0k me thats low, you live local to me Kos?!? how are you able to drive cars that low and my car which can fit not just one cigarette pack but a whole brick of fags under it but im still finding it difficult not to scrape.

Thing is there are ways of making it driveable while still being low if you look into it. Thats where the engineering aspect comes in. My coilovers still have plenty shock travel and are ideal spring rates for drifting. Its how I like my cars. I can drive them everyday and you will never once hear me complaining of "I cant lower my car because the roads are shit" You want a low car, you make it work. Simple as lol Wheels are et23 by the way with 20mm adapters all round with a custom widetracked rear end :) High offset? Bitch please :D
