318is is faster then an M3.... Is that true?pukar wrote:just a thought, but how about getting some "stock" non modified cars to get some track times for comparison.
i would suggest
325i sport (low comp/high comp)
325i sport auto
325i se (obviously much faster than a sport!!)
318is (obviously faster than an M3)

It's all pointless anyway, unless all the cars have similar miles, FSH from new then comparing is pointless. I've had to 325i engines in my Touring both rolling roaded, first one 135bhp, 2nd one 165bhp. Far too many variables.
Though I have to say, a 318is would p1ss all over my 325i Touring...........
But only so long as it sits there with no axle or wheels on it

X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...

E30 M3 - 0-62 6.7sec (from wiki)
E30 318is. - 0-60 9.1 (from zone wiki)

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Imo close down the Facebook e30 page and direct them straight to the zone.
