Replacing the pump for washer jets
Moderator: martauto
I need to replace the small pump for the windscreen washer jets, garage tested it and the 'power' is getting through ok. They said its easy to get the pump from any motor factors, but wondered if is better to get a specific E30 unit from a breakers (eg the guys in Charing in Kent)? S'pose it depends, not worth it if its old and about to give up as well - any views?

From a breakers? They're about three quid brand new. Made by FEBI, fitted to same-era Audis.

Either way, a second hand one will be fine. I've never known one fail that hasn't been allowed to freeze.

There isn't one, but that's the part number for the facelift pump.
