Alright guys Ive got a dilemma.just sold a car and Ive got some spare cash now.what do i spend it on?
Im building an m20 turbo so could spend on management,a nice custom exhaust and custom brakes or i could buy the misses an engagement ring

To be fair to her she is amazing.she puts up with alot.our back garden looking like a scrapyard for E30s. my shed being full of carparts. wheels in the front garden. My addiction to E30zone and aload of other things car related

Dooont go for the engagement ring mate.

I did that last year and its cost me a fortune subsequently. Why not pay to have her name engraved in the turbo housing.

Is she expecting you to propose? Or are you already engaged and not got the perfect ring?

If the proposal is to be a pure out of the surprise that she's not expecting, then she'll never know you planned on doing it, and won't miss it when you plough the money into your turbo build.

If she is expecting it, then for the sake of your happy relationship, I'd buy the ring.

However, if a snail is the only way your relationship with your E30 can grow, then that's the sacrifice you have to make to keep the car. Buy the turbo.

Have heard that Costco sells better diamonds for lesser than say a Tiffany's.
That's for all the stuff she has put up with, front yard, shed, backyard, E30zone and all.

Buy the Costco ring (don't show her the box) and the turbo management now.
Leave the custom exhaust and brakes for later.

Turbo build hasnt been started persay but Ive got alot of the parts ready to be put on.
So far i have
manifold
holset h1c turbo (needs a rebuild)
Intercooler and pipework
injectors
uprated head bolts
Innovate wideband o2 sensor
Oil pressure gauge and sender
oil filter relocation kit
And a few more parts Ive forgotten

i need a management system.exhaust making and oil lines for turbo then i can get it running
anyone know of a megasquirt for sale?

Im thinking of spending a bit on both the car and her ring considering the poll is 50% either way

Ok progress.i have gone and bought myself a megasquirt ecu and its going to be modified by Phil at extraefi.

Thought id update this.i bought a nice ring for the misses (which she loves and said yes) and i also bought a megasquirt.turbo build is off the cards for now as i want to get the car mint and the rust sorted.
