I'm 'doing my homework' so-to-speak on getting a 325 Sport. The killer I'm facing is insurance.
This will be the first car I've owned/insured. I've driven 1000's of miles in my parents company cars and I've insured a motorbike for the last 5 years, but I've never insured a car in my name, hence no NCB. I've also only had a car licence for just over a year (again, had a bike one for ages) and I have two speeding tickets...well technically I'm back down to 3 points now, but the insurance companies insist on asking 'within the past 5 years'

I'm 21, and a 'professional' (design engineer). So why is it I read about people my age being able to insure 325's when I can only find quotes the wrong side of Ԛ£1400 TPFT?
Am I being unreasonble, is Ԛ£1400 a sensible amount to pay? Just seems a lot when my 900cc bike cost Ԛ£330 to insure and I've done an 11.9s 1/4 mile on it!
Where do you lot insure your cars?
