Engine size and what exhaust you have would be helpful?

If im correct, you have a mtec2 sport - usually this would have a 2 piece system
Scorpions usually are 3 piece systems - so you may need to get an exhaust place to weld it on or create pipes - or get the centre and front pipes to do it urself.
otherwise its an easy job probably 1 hour or so

The key thing is if its a 2 or 3 piece exhaust.
You will need to get under the car to know for sure as there is no hard and fast rule as to what cars have a 2 or 3 piece system at this age as it could have already had attention.
If you have a 2 piece fitted and the scorpion box is for a two piece system it should just bolt together. But if one is a 2 piece and the other a 3 piece you will need the pipes extended which will take some work from an exhaust place.

No, the exhaust on a 325i can come in two or 3 sections. A 2 piece exhaust front section is connected to the manifold at the front and the rear section connects to the front section.
A 3 piece system has a downpipe from the manifold, a mid section and a rear section.
The back box for a 2 piece looks like this:

And a 3 piece has much shorter pipes where it would connect to the middle section.

just out of interest, does a 2/3 piece exhaust include the manifold or not?
i.e. is it manifold + 2/3 other sections? if that makes sense

A 2 piece does not include the manifold. Basically the front section connects to the manifold and runs to the middle of the car, the back piece is the backbox.
I believe the 3 piece is downpipe from the manifold, center and rear sections.
