Hi

I found a Torque Converter from and old 528i. Connected to a 4hp22 - the same as my box.

Will this fit on my 323i 4hp22? Will it be neccessary to change the flywheel over? Is it physically too large to fit in the bellhousing?

Cheers
Martin

Can't always go by the ETK (unless it gives dimensions).
The slightest change in spec or design will result in a different part number.

Yup, Lockup clutch engaging whenever it wants to or doesn't when it should. Started with the rattle just off idle but has now turned into a loud scraping noise all the time while in drive and reverse. I think the lockup clutch probably engaged permanently - even if not completely - causing the noise.
