A up guys has anyone experianced this issue? Can anyone shed any light on it? Im not sure how these are assembled... could it be a worn bush/loose bolt??? Cheers guys

There's a locking tab either side ( near your fingure ) couple of flat screwdrivers or try to twist the white part anti-clockwise. 8)

Will that sort the silver bit out mate? The part that looks asthough it should be mounted solid the the body?

theres a small metal bracket underneath the car with a bush/grommet on, cast bit the the gear lever goes through has a spike on the end that sits in this bush, either the bolts have come loose or the bush has gone, get yourself underneath it and remove the heatshield above the prop shaft and u will see it.

no probs fella, its an easy enough job aslong as u can get underneath, ill see if i have any pics of when i did mine, so u have a better idea what your looking at,

Sorry mate I didn't see the video only the picture. That's pretty bad, my bet would be the nut has come loose or fallen off.

Aaaah I see that makes it clearer, the last track day I did I shifted from 3rd to 2nd and it went then, its never been brill, ill get under it next sat and take a look, cheers for the help guys :)

Chances are that the engine and gearbox mounts are knackered and the lump has moved forwards under hard braking and pulled the rear locating spigot from its bush.
