Gear stick problem with video

theres a small metal bracket underneath the car with a bush/grommet on, cast bit the the gear lever goes through has a spike on the end that sits in this bush, either the bolts have come loose or the bush has gone, get yourself underneath it and remove the heatshield above the prop shaft and u will see it.

Chances are that the engine and gearbox mounts are knackered and the lump has moved forwards under hard braking and pulled the rear locating spigot from its bush.cakey87 wrote:theres a small metal bracket underneath the car with a bush/grommet on, cast bit the the gear lever goes through has a spike on the end that sits in this bush, either the bolts have come loose or the bush has gone, get yourself underneath it and remove the heatshield above the prop shaft and u will see it.
