Hi folks.
I took the washer bottle out my car today to investigate a leak and to clean it up a bit.
I'm just wondering, is the smaller bottle specifically for the headlights? I have deleted my headlight washers and am just trying to figure out how the system works so I can either disable the headlight part of the reservoir or simply fit a standard bottle.
Do the standard non headlight bottle still have two motor pumps?

Standard is a single bottle and single pump. Headlight systems have two bottles and a pump on each. The bottles are joined by a plastic bar but are separate containers (one doesn't fill the other if empty).

I'd like to see a pic of that, please?! 3 pumps is very unusual. If you adapt to one bottle, you will only require one pump.jimf wrote:Ok I seem to have one pump on small reservoir and two on the big one. If I were to fit a standard bottle would it matter which pump I used?

all headlight wash wiper bottles have x3 pumps, one is hidden close to the inner wing and feeds the head lights, the one you can see on the large bottle feeds the windscreen on normal wash and the pump on the smaller bottle is the intense wash and feeds the screen when you push the 'S' inward on your washer stalk .

Checked the bottles, and indeed there it was, little bugger tucked away just as Mick advised!!

Checked mine just now, and yup. Three, totally forgot about the third if I'm honest.
