are they different ,and if so what's the difference ?

i think the 325i one is shorter but will the 320i one not adjust/shorten to suit a medium case diff from a small case one ?

rear half of the prop will shorten for different diff but front half are different lengths beacause the 325 gearbox is longer than the 320 one

It's not the diff size that's the issue, it's the gearbox. 320i's use the Getrag 240 gearbox, which is significantly shorter than the 325i's Getrag 260, and you can't adjust the prop enough to compensate for that. If you're using a 240 box and a large case diff, you can use a 320i prop.

It's all in the Wiki...

All props have the same rear section,it's the front that is different.
I have a 320 prop on the touring, mated to a Getrang 240 and an M50 at one end and a 3:64 medium case diff at the other.
