what you need to do...is talc all around the walls, rear panel, bottom of light units etc etc, so when you wet...you actualy see the trail of water comming down from the leak and find its source

When your new wife turfs you out, again, for stranding her on the side of the road / spunking money on old scrap . You can spend a night in the boot with a torch, admiring your shiny new tools :D As a bonus, by the morning you should know where the leak is :)

There's normally a seal in that hole, but it looks like it's been removed to stop your leaks from rusting out that pocket (which is the rear battery tray).

Definitely looks like the water is coming in from your rear panel, but it also looks like you have a water trail over the back of your lights...

Daft as it sounds, it seems like you need to lock yourself in the boot with a torch while a mate (if you have one) sprays the car with a hosepipe.

Is that at the bottom of the pic? It isnt doing any harm is it?

Also its defo not calypso its as red as the rest of thr car it was dark with a flash and all the talc must have distorted the colour.

Do I just go looking for the seal that was there? Also its been dry since I took out the rear drains and rodded them and resealed them. A day of rain and a bucket test has been passed.
