Hi guys how do you remove glass lenses from lights someone told me you can just pop them in the oven and that will heat the sealant up enough to pull the lense off is this true and how long would you need to put them in for ?

Thanks

Hello

Have a read of this

Also you can run a thin blade around to cut the sealant to help things along but as Dan says you have to be carefull as the glass can easily split.

Are you going to smoke the lenses? Or fit cross hairs?

if all you want to do is smoke them then why not simply use lamin-x tinting film? Saves all the hassle of trying to get the glass out without breaking/damaging it.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Stick them in the oven. That'll soften the adhesive.
