how to change the ignition barrel?

hi peeps ive searched the wiki but i cant find any info on how to change the ignition barrel any help would be much appreciated when i put the key in it only turns slightly just enough to semi disengage the steering lock but wont go any further ive got a donor car i can take a new barrel from but would prefer to fix the existing one if possible cheers

found it on the wiki but i cant turn it to position one to remove the barrel wat can i do??

if it wont turn and you have a doner car then remove the whole lock or swap steering colums,

or if you have patience then you can slowly drill the barrel out till its opened up,.

I think you can use a centre punch

use a centre puch where ? think im just going to replace the whole thing or the steering column its self if i have to cheers guys
