I too have never seen how Alpina done it, not sure how much benefit you get from it though, to me it sounds like a yank thing.

After pissing around today
and not doing much this morning, I finally decided to pull the ITB's apart and start to clean and paint them.
After a few hours
of freeing up bolts, cleaning faces and general spraying, I ended up from this:-

The "Eagled" eyed of you will notice it's not the exact same part, but you get the idea

You can run 9j all rounds with an et of 10-15.
Rears are fine, but the fronts normally need a 3mm spacer, or you can look for ET5 for the fronts.
