Passenger side of the car is absolutely fine, as is the roof (sunroof is fine too). Floor is ok. To be honest, the bodywork is by no means perfect, but I didn't buy it for the bodywork really. I'm a post-grad student with very little time or money at the moment so unsure whether it's viable to carry on with the old turd!

When you say it is fine, I assume you removed the inner trim panel and the sill cover etc ? If the drivers side rear is the only serious rust on your car (it won't be) it is not reason enough to frag it. A competent welder / fabricator should be able to get that strong and tidy for a few hundred quid.

Dont hold back Barry eh...............

Ill tell you one thing, it will never rust through there again, no rust trap anymore as thats what those pads amount too........

Id wager that if you took those pads off yours barry you will 100% find some rust lurking.

Also, since beardymatt did the diddlers car he has restored another E30 and made exact replicas of the square pads and fitted them.

Paul, you're car will never rust there because you'll never use it in the rain! :)

I hope you're not a gambling man because you would lose.

That is scrap. Take anything useful off it, and weigh it in.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
