S'ok insurance will be prohibitive until 25!!! I think he'll be fine by then!pnd wrote:if you are only sixteen I hope you are going to be very careful when you get top drive this or you will be off the road. Sorry to put a downer on it but thats a lot of car for someone who has just passed their test.

diffin round the yard innit?!!?sweep wrote:How have you gone through 2 sets of tyres?

Famous last words.harvs wrote:i am used to the car and by the time i can drive it wont be a problem
At 14 I was driving a 200 hp M3 and a 350 hp on track. But at 17 a 1.6 E30 caught me out a couple of times. Being on the road is a different kettle of fish.harvs wrote: i am used to the car and by the time i can drive it wont be a problem

Oh he's looking after it alright- already bought it 2 sets of tyres in a month from getting used to it in his back yard!! Must be a bugger to find the blighting point and is just doing burnouts up and down!!brettski wrote:Yep thats my old car look after it mate

Ah yes! My sincerest apologies to the OP.maggspower wrote:C'mon guys bashing up newbies is a sport for the mods.
I'll have the rear bumper

Unfortunately the odds are against this car remaining intact. Of course there are exceptions as mentioned here. Hope this car is one of them. An inexperienced hot-head behind the wheel of a breathed-upon 2.7 rwd usually spells disaster!! Comment on back yard antics does nothing to reassure!!ross_jsy wrote:I love all the "you will smash it to pieces" posts. I bought my stripped and caged sport when I was 17 and it's still in one piece several years laterbut then again I didn't pay £3.5k to insure the car in someone else' name, that's plain retarded.
