my bmw :) , thought id have a bit of a photo sesh and my mate had a mess around with some hdr editing, :) , thought they came out quite well!!!:) comments please:)

Not sure that it is calyso!?! Either way it still looks nice, like the pics. :cool:

Does it have some kind of arch extension/cover thingys on it??

Yea it has arch covers on her has started to rust underneath, but soon to be taken off and new arches put on:) , all a work in progress, :)

u have to use a camera which can do hdr pics (takes 3 pics at different contrasts) then use photomatix to put the pics together and alot of playing around lol:) ,

Any camera that has manual control can do the shots necessary for a tonemapped shot like the first one. You just have to make sure the camera is kept in EXACTLY the same position between exposures. The number of exposures needed depends on the dynamic range of the shot you wish to take but usually you can get away with three exposures (-2, 0, +2) if the contrast isn't too crazy and shooting raw will help also. If the shot has mad contrast then a larger range of exposures may be needed. And then as mentioned you need the help of software to blend the images together. Then you can tonemap the f*ck out of it if that's you bag, like the first shot.

Even though tonemapping is old hat and frowned upon in professional circles now, I still like it when it's used with some thought and subtlety- the first shot is a bit much for me but I'm a pita to please :D
