35mm diameter struts? That sounds really thin to me (unless I am mistaken what you are talking about). I use 51mm V2 in my E30 race car and they have been great (rebound adjustable). Not a single problem in about 6 odd years. I have recently fitted slicks and have found the spring rate to be to soft now. On the road, or with semi slicks however, the spring rate was great.ameetgill1 wrote:I'm getting 35mil all around what u think
I also had KW V1 in my A4 (not rebound adjustable). Once again they were great. My next car will also have KW coilovers.

Cheers,
Michael.

Think he's talking about the drop rather than the strut size.

Okay that makes sense. So not their coilover series then, but their street series.Grrrmachine wrote:Think he's talking about the drop rather than the strut size.

It all depends on what you want to do with it. I always entertain the thought of tracking my cars, even if it is only once; in which case I would personally lean towards coilovers. However if it is only for a daily driver which doesn't ever get more right boot than it takes to over take the car ahead of you then coilovers are a waste of money and you should stay with the lowered McPherson struts (they do exactly the same job, except you cannot change the ride height... I had my Audi for 5 years and in all that time, never adjusted the ride height once after setting them...).
As you have a Cab I think the normal struts should be fine.. and once fitted, you will probably never look back.

YOu do realise that these coilovers will need to be welded onto your front struts, as with all coilovers for E30's???
