Hi
My fuel tank is leaking badly when filled with more than 10pounds worth of fuel! Would a gsf replacement tank be any good? Also any advice for fitting it? I've heard they can be a right pain to do!
Cheers

I'm sure the GSF one will be fine; just make sure you get the right size.

Yea I've seen that he makes it sound a easy job! But think it can be a pain if bolts start snapping off!

I've never had any trouble to date unscrewing fuel tank bolts. The rear ones are obstructed by the rear beam, so aren't quite as easy, but unless your car has spent half its life parked in the sea or a salt mine, they should unscrew OK.
Check out the steel brake pipes while the tank is out.

As above, the 13mm bolts come out okay but use a 13mm spanner for the rear ones. The biggest pain can be the rubber intake hose which can really stick on and be a bastard to get off. I was taking a tank out of a scrapper a few days ago, got a bit medieval with the screwdriver trying to get the hose off - which went through the tank in a rusty bit around the hose.......
No idea what aftermarket tanks are like in terms of quality, but mint originals without rusty seams and rusty intake flanges are now rare.

If you haven't bought the tank already I'd be willing to bet I can save you money, pm me the details if you'd like a quote
