Wonder how much a dealer would ask to fit a brand new OEM exhaust (to an iS)?
A fortune? Or one of those things that are actually cheaper and better?
Looking probably the whole lot, from engine to tailpipe.
Thoughts welcome.
Would you let a dealer fit an exhaust; what would they ask?

Three points for this:
1) You say you want to go engine to tailpipe, but the manifold for the iS is no longer available
2) I seem to remember getting a quote for the rest of the exhaust at around £800 for the parts alone from BMW in December last year
3) You've then got to add dealer prices for fitting, although that isn't a long job in theory.....

I got a manifold-back system from Fritz's Bits for ~£500 after VAT and delivery, and they do a manifold for a further £500

Which considering a lot of dealers offer the 10+scheme at £50/hr, you'd be an idiot to pay.DanThe wrote:Its a very long job when your paying £90 odd per hour!mwggriffiths wrote:Three points for this:
