Wonder how much a dealer would ask to fit a brand new OEM exhaust (to an iS)?

A fortune? Or one of those things that are actually cheaper and better?

Looking probably the whole lot, from engine to tailpipe.

Thoughts welcome.

Three points for this:

1) You say you want to go engine to tailpipe, but the manifold for the iS is no longer available :(

2) I seem to remember getting a quote for the rest of the exhaust at around £800 for the parts alone from BMW in December last year

3) You've then got to add dealer prices for fitting, although that isn't a long job in theory.....

Yup they're still available, still expensive :P

I got a manifold-back system from Fritz's Bits for ~£500 after VAT and delivery, and they do a manifold for a further £500  it's a nice system, slightly freer following apparently (yeah right!) and uses all the original mounting points and looks relatively subtle and stock :) Here it is shortly after loosing a fight with part of an electric gate

Which considering a lot of dealers offer the 10+scheme at £50/hr, you'd be an idiot to pay.

If you can justify it, BMW zorsts are the best. My E32 system lasted 18 years and the system on my iS is the original.
