I have recently swapped out my 4.10 open diff for a 3.73 LSD dif. Now when I lock the whell and apply any sort acceleration (normal u-turn) I can hear grinding rough sound coming from the back. Even when im not locking the wheel this sometimes happens as long as i got drive going to the wheels and turning. When i dip the clutch or straighten the wheel, all is well. Are these signs of a faulty diff?

Sounds like the clutches are knackered in the diff

Unless the grinding sound is the inside tyre slipping, which would show that the diff is working.

If you're lucky it just has the wrong oil in it.
