What I will say is that its down to installation. Especially with Clifford Products
I've used 3 installers on my previous 3 cars
And tbh Ive had problems with all of them. Ive either had to rework the positioning of things, had attitude when I came to pay or have consistent false alarms at 5am which the dealer are convinced Im making up!
Cliffords own installation course is not difficult to pass. But a real electrician will do a good job of it anyway. And will go above and beyond just "making do"
I left my E30 with the installer and said they could have it for a couple of days. so as not to rush them and hope they did a good job. But when I turned up at 5pm on the second day they were still doing it. So basically they'd wasted Day 1 by not touching it.
