My 90' 318 needs a new belt - looking online there are kits & just belts..is it essential you replace the tensioner ( as inc in many kits) or do you just go for a decent belt ( if so which are the prefered brands?)

Thanks

Go for a belt kit - SKF do one through Euros. Make sure to get the E30 kit - the idler pulleys on the E36 M40 engine are different and won't do.
