It might be too late, it looks like they have already being serving your morsels ........
What colour was your M3 convertible and why did you decide to ruin/ frag a decent car to create your frankenstein bodge fest ?

Also.... i cant see any signs of a oil cooler, the engine looks to be mounted to far forward and the brake fluid reservoir looks like its resting on the inlet plenum. God only knows what box/prop/diff combo you have got. The sump also needs to come off to check what they have been up to in there.DanThe wrote:Air fliter is too small, wrong exhaust, wiring looks shoddy and the ECU should definitely not be mounted on the inner wing!
God knows whats happened with the brakes or coolant pipework but its not likely to be any good looking at the above pics.
Basically, as has been said previous, it looks like you will need at least £3k to get it to a 'basic' acceptable standard

i remember the knobber that did mine had wired some of the lives from the loom to a thin permanent live on the alarm.
driving along one day minding my own business when smoke started billowing from under the dash and the car cut out at 70..... obviously several of the wires had melted together but no serious damage done.
my how me and the auto spark laughed as he inspected it ......

Bad times.
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

That VW Camper they depicture isn't exactly what I'd call 'Jank' - half decently restored with some T-Cut, it would be worth a tidy pile!

To be fair, the oil filter problem could have occurred at any time.
What mileage had the engine done, and what timescale did the 'specialists' have to do the conversion?
Frankly, trusting people to do such a specialist job at this time of year when most folk are concentrating on eating, drinking and being merry is asking for trouble, imho.

Id say this 'lob in' conversion has taken less than a week, and when i say week i mean 5 days.
