get in touch with a member on here called DanThe, he can de-EWS the ECU for you. Or he can sort you out with a plug & play loom on an exchange basis so you can keep the EWS

First question is "why do you want to bypass it?"
If you definitely want to, then contact DanThe.

For the EWS to work you need the following all from the same donor vehicle
ECU
EWS box
Ignition key
I'm useless at wiring too, which is why I bought a plug & play adapted loom from Dan and kept my EWS

Assuming they are a matching set, that's what you need.
Also needed are the antenna ring and the small Tx/Rx module, but these can be from any car that has them.

Wow! you guys are fantastic, this is how it should be done. This is some very good flowing advice that is not filled with sarcastic a$$ replies that you get in some threads.
Thumbs up guys!
Ante3025 unless you have a VERY good alarm then keep the EWS. No way in hell will anyone drive of with your joy when you have the ews chip with you indoors. Unless they are so determined that they show up with their own ews and key and proceed to wire it in outside your house

Im sure violet/white is switched live and red yellow is permanant live.
Not 100% sure though so wait for someone else to post before you go snipping wires.

Yep, agree red/yellow is permanent. Violet/White is switched (but will work with permanent as well, might drain battery like this though).
