okay so the manifolds are on, do i now

A) chop the bmw flanges off the bottom, get some slightly oversize pipe bent to shape, run these down to a standard 325 exhaust starting point, weld the bmw flanges back on, then buy a stainless 325 exhaust and go from there

B) as above but dont weld the bmw flanges back on and use a friction fit the same as off the manifolds in A

C) take the manifolds off, chop the bottom part of them up and fully fabricate the manifold to finish up where the 325 exhaust would start, then buy a 325 stainless exhaust

D) Do none of the above, take it to an exhaust fabricator and get them to do it

E) run straight pipes :P :o

does any one know of an off the shelf exhaust for an e30 that has pipe dia of 50mm? (2")

cheers lads

I had mine chopped right back to the 3 primarys then remade using 50mm stainless dairy pipe.
Mine are straight cut at the ends and juin to the centre box using double ended tubular clamps(dont know correct term for them).
Centre box is an E30 M3 Scorpion which again is 50mm and that is mated to unbranded stainless backbox with 50mm inlet tubes.

Danthe does some `plug n play` manifolds and downpipes, worth a PM to him.
