Christ Boyd, you seem to make a habit of this strange service.
Seems I got off lightly with it only taking 12 weeks to resolve a £53 transaction which you couldn't complete.
Our little issue has been resolved now but it took a lot of time and effort and countless PM's backwards and forwards on the BMW5 forum:

Boyd,
Thank you for the refund. I can confirm it has arrived in my account already.
Regards,
James

Sorry. Again. You are right. I created the payment on 15th december, but I didn't authorise it. It's a nonsensical way of doing things, but afer I create a transfer, I have to log out and log in as another user to authorise it. I've tried explaining that I'm a one man business, but it's procedure apparently.
Anyway, it's done now and I'm sorry you haven't had very good service at all.
Best regards,
Boyd

Hi Boyd,
I look forward to your reply so we can rectify this and finally bring it to an end.

Hi
I'm certain that I did this at the time. I'm not at my desk. I'll check tonight. If you're right, it'll be rectified immediately.
Best regards,
Boyd

Boyd, 2 months on from your last message saying 'You'll have it tonight' and I STILL don't have the refund of ï¿a53 which you owe me for the 'cock up' (your words not mine) regarding the M535i radiator.
I have now contacted the Admin team for a solution and have no real option but to make this public to the forum unless I see the refund of ï¿a53 in my account by the end of THIS week - Friday 19th.
BACS transfers at worst take 3 days, but in most cases are only a few hours / same day.
I can obviously see when you last or next log in as that data is held on your profile, and also I can see when this message gets read as it goes from my outbox to sentbox. So no excuses anymore.
Here are the bank details:
Account name: Redish Motorsport
Sort: 20****
Account number: ********
This is my own business and I'm currently working 100 hours +- a week (7days) so if you have any issue refunding me then you can call any day or night on the landline 01179 60 48 47 or my mobile ************.
I look forward to seeing the refund arrive in my account.
Regards,
James

I'll do an online transfer. You should have it tonight. I'll need your details. I only get a reference, not your full details.
Sorry again for the cock up.
Best regards,
Boyd.

How do you plan to make the refund? Via BACS like I paid you?
If so, do you have the details from my original transfer?

Hi James,
Disaster.
I booked and paid for Saturday delivery but when I got it back yesterday, it sounded as if there was "stuff" rattling about inside. I opened the package and a load of the the aluminium fins had turned to dust. It appears to be where I packed it tightly to avoid damage, but now even light finger presssure brushes away the fins. It looked OK, but now and on closer examination, it's u/s.
No matter I have another manual ready to break. It drove in so I'll have the rad out of that. Except when I go to take it out, it's an auto rad with the trans oil cooler bypassed.
I'm sorry and embarassed in equal measure. It's been a disaster from start to finish for a simple radiator. I have auto, but no manuals, it would appear.
I can't apologise enough, I'll obviously refund you immediately.
Sorry again,
Boyd

Sorry. Cock up. But at least I know what has happened now.
I am a business, yes, but I am not at my business premises all the time. I asked my neighbour to hand your radiator and some other bits to UPS when they turned up. None of these parts have been delivered. He is a decent young lad even if he is dealing in sooped up Jap stuff - financed by his dad. Anyway, he has the paperwork from the driver and I haven't been able to see him since I got back last Friday. I got his dad's number from the landlord today, the young lad is ill apparently and not at his work. His dad went to the unit tonight and phoned me to say that there were boxes addressed in his unit. He doesn't know what has happened, but it's clear that for some reason, they weren't collected. I've arranged to meet him to pick them up.
I'm sorry, it's partly my fault, but the transport business can take me away from the cars and parts side for days at a time.
What do you want to do? I'll obviously refund or send on.
Your call. Sorry again, it's not the sort of service I aim to provide.

Boyd,
Still haven't had the radiator.
I'm getting quite restless with the situation now as I'm sure you can imagine.
If you've sent it and it's not your fault then fair enough - just tell me if it's been sent and which company and also the tracking number).
But I'm begining to wonder if it's been sent at all as everytime I've asked you who it's been sent with you've not answered the question.
So, can you tell me what is going on as it's now been 20 days since I first messaged you about the radiator, 14 days since I sent the payment, 13 days since you said you were originally sending it, and 7 WORKING days since you said you received the payment and said you were sending it on an upgraded next day guaranteed delivery.
Come on this should take 1-2 working days max.
I've been in the parts supply and distribution game for 10 years now and I have multiple parts arriving and departing from here daily - I can't remember the last time myself or a supplier had a delivery issue getting something to me.
Are you a business as you don't have a traders status on this forum? If you are a business I'm dissapointed with the service.
James

Sorry. You should have had it by now. I'm amazed you haven't. It's definitely away. Unfortunately I'm away too. I won't be back until to tomorrow afternoon. I'll get on to it then if you still don't have it.
I'll refund you if you'd prefer it. I'll be on touch.

Hi Boyd,
Still no sign of the radiator!
Has it been sent? Can you provide me with tracking info?
Seriously this is taking far longer than it should let's be honest.
I'm a business and this is for a customers car which is now been delayed even longer.
Let me know the status please.
James.

Hi Boyd, Thanks for the quick reply.
Cool I'll take one then please.
Can I just confirm it will be packaged well for a delicate part?
Only reason is I've had one sent to me before then arrived with damaged cores due to lack of packaging.
But I'm sure you're like me and if you deal with parts all day long you package accordingly.
Thanks for the details.
I'm rebuilding one for a customer so may well need some more parts shortly. I'll go make a list seeing as you have a fair few M535i's.
Best regards,
James

I have a couple. I can take a photo.
Bank transfer works best for me:
72-**-**
********
Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank
Account name: Bavarian Retro
Or cheque/cash/PO to
J. B. Beattie
**************
**********
G75 ***
Or I use a service called Cashpay that lets you pay cash in at a Post Office on presentation of a barcode. I can e-mail you it if required.

Hi mate, Thanks for the quick reply.
If it's defo an E28 M535i Manual radiator and in good condition with the top vent hose-outlet still intact then I'll have it.
Don't suppose you have a picture just to confirm do you?
How do you want payment?
PayPal?
BACS transfer?

James
