Jed,
I'm still waiting on a response from you to this email sent on 14/7/2010 and two reminders sent on 31/7 and 24/8 all 2010.
"Hi Jed,
Let's get a couple of things clear here:-
1. I have NEVER at any time called Fedex by telephone. I have had calls from their Indian call centre, but I have never called them.
2. You apparently arranged the collection last Monday, not me. They did not attend. They called me on the Tuesday. I assumed that they called at your behest. I asked them why they hadn't attended. They said that they had a record of me saying that I would deliver it. I explained that that was from the week before - that I had tried, twice, to deliver it and it would not be accepted because the paperwork was wrong and that you had arranged that they should attend yesterday (Mon 5th). At that they muttered that "there must have been some misunderstanding" and that they could collect on Wenesday. I explained that Friday would be convenient. They were unable to book for Friday and stated that I should call their customer services on Thursday and arrange it. I explained that I wouldn't do that, but that I would get "the gentleman in America" - you - to sort it out and closed the conversation. They called me back two minutes later and said that they'd call me on Thursday to arrange collection on Frday. They didn't! As of now, they still haven't!
I'm heartily sick of Fedex. I've made 3 separate 20 mile journeys to their depot and waited in for them at two locations on one day.
I do all this and you say, "So its hard for me to believe you that Fedex didn't come by yesterday for the pick up."!
Did you ask them if they called to collect?
I'm also heartily sick of your constant accusatorial tone. Some time ago I confirmed that I was back to work and able to deliver again to Sunbury sa originally agreed. I now want to go back to this arrangement. I will not go to the Fedex branch again. I will not wait in unless I get a written (e-mail will do) note from Fedex as to when they are coming.
Of course the package is wrapped ready to go. What do you think I took to the Fedex offices? A box with a couple of bricks in it?
I'll ignore your threats and put it down to your being a bit frustrated too, but I can tell you that I want this sorted just as much as you.
You have three options and my patience is running thin.
1. Delivery to Sunbury at my cost as originally agreed.
2. Collection by Fedex, but only after e-mail confirmation from them of when and where they are collecting. No more telephone correspondence.
3. Full refund.
Let me know what you want to do."
Your parts are still here.
