It was a Wolseley 10/40 or 20/50 or whatever the farina spastic number plate donor vehicles are called :)

Oh how I tried not to laugh as the sill/ floor gave way and the jack went straight into the door !

I had just found out minutes earlier that the tasty reg was not transferrable and whilst making my excuses, asked the owner were the jacking points ok ? He took the bait, the rest and his sill/door was history and I left quickly ! :D

Don't lie Everett , I got the Buble disc from you as a deal involving a Ronan Keating CD , a Gary Glitter 8 track and a well thumbed copy of Asian Axe Wounds :)

Aah fuckinell. The truth will out as someone once said.

But the only Magazine involved in the Buble/Keating deal was a September 1975 MOTOR with the 18/22 first test and technical analysis. That's been thumbed to buggery.

My, my, one successful scam leads to a bigger score. This S.O.B. doesn't know when to stop.

I wired USD $500 last May 2010 to Boyd Beattie (cecotto479) through my bank to buy a set of headers and throttle bodies off the M88 he was parting out. It was months of excuses as to why he had not shipped the parts. I gave him every opportunity to make it as easy as possible. I even set up a complete shipment paperwork with Fedex and covered all the expenses. He just had to drop off the parts at a Fedex location close to him. The bastard couldn't even do that.

Here's the thread on the M5board.com where he advertised.

http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/parts- ... e-m88.html

I'm still freakin' pissed about this. I'm willing to pay another USD $500 for someone to just fuck him up and get $500 worth of satisfaction.

Up until today, its been 18 months since I wired the money, nothing at all from him. Nothing!!!

Jed,

I'm still waiting on a response from you to this email sent on 14/7/2010 and two reminders sent on 31/7 and 24/8 all 2010.

"Hi Jed,

Let's get a couple of things clear here:-

1. I have NEVER at any time called Fedex by telephone.  I have had calls from their Indian call centre, but I have never called them.
2. You apparently arranged the collection last Monday, not me.  They did not attend.  They called me on the Tuesday.  I assumed that they called at your behest.  I asked them why they hadn't attended.  They said that they had a record of me saying that I would deliver it.  I explained that that was from the week before - that I had tried, twice, to deliver it and it would not be accepted because the paperwork was wrong  and that you had arranged that they should attend yesterday (Mon 5th). At that they muttered that "there must have been some misunderstanding" and that they could collect on Wenesday.  I explained that Friday would be convenient.  They were unable to book for Friday and stated that I should call their customer services on Thursday and arrange it.  I explained that I wouldn't do that, but that I would get "the gentleman in America" - you - to sort it out and closed the conversation.  They called me back two minutes later and said that they'd call me on Thursday to arrange collection on Frday.  They didn't!  As of now, they still haven't!

I'm heartily sick of Fedex.  I've made 3 separate 20 mile journeys to their depot and waited in for them at two locations on one day.

I do all this and you say, "So its hard for me to believe you that Fedex didn't come by yesterday for the pick up."!

Did you ask them if they called to collect?

I'm also heartily sick of your constant accusatorial tone.  Some time ago I confirmed that I was back to work and able to deliver again to Sunbury sa originally agreed.  I now want to go back to this arrangement.  I will not go to the Fedex branch again.  I will not wait in unless I get a written (e-mail will do) note from Fedex as to when they are coming.

Of course the package is wrapped ready to go.  What do you think I took to the Fedex offices?  A box with a couple of bricks in it?

I'll ignore your threats and put it down to your being a bit frustrated too, but I can tell you that I want this sorted just as much as you.

You have three options and my patience is running thin.

1.  Delivery to Sunbury at my cost as originally agreed.
2. Collection by Fedex, but only after e-mail confirmation from them of when and where they are collecting.  No more telephone correspondence.
3. Full refund.

Let me know what you want to do."

A career in medicine never occurred to me.

I sent that email to him 14 months ago after I had made three trips to the local Fedex depot with his parcel which they wouldn't accept.

I sent two reminders.

Until this - his first post here - I'd heard nothing.

If you're going to comment about something that doesnt involve you, try to keep up.
