What size spacer will i need if Im putting 17's on the touring. No drop, just standard.

all depends on the offset of the rims and the width.

That's the main thing you needed to know 
The other things that matter are the width of the rim & the tyre...
Assuming it's a 7inch rim with a 205 tyre on it (like a standard BBS), you'll want to get the offset down to around 20-25.
37 is usually a FWD offset, & they'll sit further into the arches (& hence probably hit the struts) than an et 24 (bbs again) rim.
People often say that 35 is a standard offset for the e30, but (AFAIK!) that's only on the 14 rims, which are narrower, so still clear the struts.
A 10mm spacer will probably be enough (giving et27 overall), but the only way you'll know for sure is to find someone with the same size wheel / tyre who's tried it...

the et is 37
the size is 7jx 17, tyres are 205/45/r17
i had no strut hitting issues on mine without spacers but did feel vibration at 80 an then agian at 120ish
