its a bored and stroked m20. no prizes sorry lol. i have a figure. just trying to upload a youtube vid then ill post the outcome. im happy with the result and i know there is more to come from the induction side of things.

Very impressive. My dyno result was 166.1 bhp - standard M20 2.5 engine with no mods

yes. just got a £25 2.7 alpina replica chip. i ran out of money but ive got a trackday on tuesday and wanted to check it wasnt running lean. there is more to come winkeye

thanks. yeah im happy with the power. feels quite strong and its only done 600 miles so once the maf conversion is done and its mapped propperly i recon it will be sweet. hopeing it holds together long enough to go down the strip at the bmw show. it keeps throwing up little probs for me to sort out like the heater matrix bursting friday night. i had to bypass the matrix so i could still go on the rollers on saturday.

from that vid is that oil smoke or dust ???? when you changed gear looked like a little puff of white smoke to me but we will see...

Yeah its burning oil. Stem seals I think. Bad on start up and trackdays but not noticable normally. They are new but patern parts. pisses me off but because it didnt smoke before the rebiuld. I might fix it next yr. I need to save my pennies for an emerald ecu
