Not sure mate, but it may be the best all round solution
fitting or removing exhaust manifolds on the 24v donks with the engine in situ is a sad job too mate.
Are you running a 3 piece system on yours?

Ideal for Dan's setup then as it will bolt straight to 3 piece system, not sure if he has them ready to go off the shelf or not or whether he needs your manifolds to adapt etc. Worth a PM me thinksmagpie wrote:yeah a 3 pieceE30BeemerLad wrote:Not sure mate, but it may be the best all round solution

More cost aye,
But think of it this way.....
Once the zaust is bolted up, it's game over, job done ..
and all that's left is driving pleasure

This is a really good thread Mick, hat dipped to you sir.
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

you don't use the e30 p/s fluid bottle with the e36 rack you just mount as it sits in an e36 on the engine mount using the e36 bottle and bracket.another lesson learned
that's all the pipes in place an mounted up.
glad i kept this bottle now when i bought the rack
had a go at bleeding the coolant again today as the neighbors are on there hols and got as far as heat out of the blower but not really hot like it used to be. i undone the rad cap and it just erupted like a volcano chugging and spewing hot water out
.
more chew with this bit when me manifolds arrive as even with cotton wool stuffed in me ears after 15 mins of it running on just manifolds begins to do ya nut in

Your rev counter will be out of sync mate as it will only be expecting the sparking from 4 cylinders, so it will over read, will probably go off the scale.

got it all bled up yesterday and the elec fan kicked in with loads of hot heat at the heaters
then it sprung a leak from the thermo housing which i'll look at today
got the zaust all bolted up and the p/s linkage on and p/s fluid in then had a wee test drive after it was up to temp before the thermo leak.
i can confirm i have Trippy Diff
sadly my brakes are sh1te wtf do i need to do now ?
the car stops eventually when the brake pedal is on the floor
all i can hear is air from the servo [clio] i put a spacer in the master cylinder when i fitted it.
is this fooked ??
