M52 plugs

Wat are the best spark plugs for the M52?

I was thinking of the Iridium plugs(Denso/NGK) but they are a bit pricey

so what do people suggest??

I just use the standard plugs, bosch, beru, ngk etc etc, they all seem to be as good as the other. Very common plug this one, used on lots of other manufacturers engines which is why they are only about £2-£3 per plug

Ok, I'll give thone NGK's a try Lee/Dan

I was looking for a plug to give me that little bit extra,

as i'll be running the direct port nitrous on the 2.8

but I'll see how the NGK BKR6 EP's cope

If you're going to be sticking the gas on mate then I'd speak with someone like Wizards of Noz for any specific advice.

Double check on my recommendation mate, I know it is the BKR6's that are the recommended heat range, but the letters that follow the 6 dictate the type/ material.

I think you can get BKR6E
BKR6ES
BKR6EP

It may actually be the ES you need as I think the EP is a platinum tip, which may not be needed. I think platinum tip plugs generally are used in cars with long service intervals/ where the plugs are an utter cooont to change.

Bottom line, listen to Dan not me when it comes to anything

naa it's all good info lee, i was using the denso ones on the 2.7 i just thought id use the same on the M52
