But started with the snapped stud which the rear spire nut secures the exhaust backbox heat sheild in place. Riv nut to the rescue again with photos this time
Heres the tool in place

Heres the fixing secured into the pre drillled hole

and the heat shield ain't going no where!

Fuel tanks in and time to plumb the fuel filter and join up with the new pipes.

'friad it's a bit OEM Homo again!!! The fuel filter backet is one of a few I plated up earlier this year.

and with filter in and plumbed up

Then came something I was in two minds whether to do. I went for it in the end and got the waxoil kit out and protected the edge of the fuel tank. We all know these rot so best try to keep it at bay. I did the top befor it went in along with the box areas to the sides around the beam mounts.

Next came the heat shields with my newly plated brackets

The beam went in a treat and I reckon looks okay.
Followed by a refurbed 3:64 LSD with M3 mount. The casing has already started rusting but where do you draw the line!!!!!!

and the prop rebolted up with newly plated nuts.

And thats where I left her today. Wanted to get the arms in but I've lost the bloody rubber link pipe from the filler neck to the tank!!!!
